Greetings, and welcome to the Final Fantasy XIV version of
Letters from San d'Oria. This is a first person perspective, in-character account of my character's adventures in Eorzea.
Once I get more info/they release more info/start playing the game, I will expand this particular post and begin the actual letters. The game is out, I'm playing on Wutai under the character of Romidant Diarmi, and have begun the first letter. Hopefully I'll have it finished before the end of the year (keep your fingers crossed.) Update: Ha, yeah, I hate deadlines, even self-imposed ones.
Post titles will probably follow "Dayname, Day # of the #/name month, of the year ####". Post titles will be "Day ##, of (guardian)'s month," with the order of guardians being as follows:

- Menphina
- Thaliak
- Nymeia
- Llymlaen
- Oschon
- Byregot
- Rhalgr
- Azeyma
- Nald'thal
- Nophica
- Althyk
There are 32 days to a month, 12 months a year, which means 384 days a year. I don't know the frequency of posts yet, but there will be at least one per month, and the posts
will be long (holy carp are they ever long.) They will also include pictures, taken with a screenshot program, but are still property of Square-Enix, and will be watermarked with a copyright declaring them the property of Square-Enix.
If anyone has figured out how to remove the UI from a screenshot, please let me know? In 11 it was ctrl-[ and then ctrl-] to take a picture. Figured it out with help from a friend.
This post will be edited as needed. All posts will be dated with the date I started them on, and I will use earth months (labeled with the guardian names) instead of ingame months, simply because its easier, and because an earth month doesn't go by in a few days like an eorzean one does.
"Papan" is to be pronounced "pah-pon."
